                    HeavyWeight Thunder Almost Out!

HeavyWeight Thunder, the new title developed by none other than

RoundHouse Entertainment, is ready to hit store shelves.  The

release should happen some time this March, so check your local

                              stores!

                    Site Redesign Nearly Complete

It is mind blowing that it has been over a year since the last update!

In any event, we've done a huge overhaul to the web site, and it now

contains more information on more topics, so surf around and

                              check it out!

                    New title in Development

Good news (well, for us anyway); we've been hired to develop a new

game title.  The title is still many months from completion, and things

are still hush hush, but so far, all systems are go.

                             Saturday 2 August 2003

                    Website is back up

The web site was down temporarily last month due to an overflow of

downloads.  But, we're back up and running, and everything seems

to be running smoothly for the time being.

                    Update Delay

Yeah, updates have been sparse, but the head-way we've been making

is worth it.  We'll probably hold off any major updates for a little while,

then dump all the new stuff at once.

                    Wednesday 12 February 2003

                    Press Section Coming Soon

We'll be adding a few new sections to the web site, including a Press

section for Attack of the Silver Ball, so stay tuned!

                              Monday 6 January 2003

                    Happy Holidays!

It's been a while since the last update, which means things have been

going pretty well.  We've been taking something of a vacation around here

(i.e. we're working 10 hour days instead of our usual 16), but the purchasing

section and trouble shooting e-mail (aotsb@roundhousesoft.com) are

still working at 100%.  We'll be updating the AOTSB page with a press

section in the coming days, so stay tuned for that.  Also, I haven't mentioned

it, but if you know of a web host who has the demo of AOTSB and is

hosting an older version (not 1.3), it would be a very nice gesture to pressure

them into updating to 1.3.  Don't do anything serious, just small things, like

threaten them, rough them up, you know.

                    Final Demo Update

Very quick update.  It seems version 1.2 of the demo was missing a

few fixes that we meant to put in, particularly the ATI flicker fix, but couldn't

because they wouldn't fit in a small patch.

So, we've put together one final version of the demo, 1.3.  This demo

should have all the fixes that are present in the final version of the game,

so if you downloaded an old demo and noticed some of the glitches

mentioned in the demos, don't worry, the full version does not have

them.  You can download the newest demo from our server right now,

and we'll do our best to update the older demos that are on the net.

Again, you can check the version number by looking at the first page

                              in the manual.doc file.

                    Wednesday 27 November 2002

                    Our demo has been updated.

Phew!  The server gave us one tough fight on that one, but we finally

updated the demo!  The main thing that was wrong was a bug where

the camera would sometimes stay facing the mansion when the 3-ball

multi-ball began.  Again, check the version by looking at the first page

of the manual.doc.  If it says for version 1.2, then you're alright.  If not,

then go downloading either the demo from our server or the patch.

The other sites that host the demo in the links section should also be

                              updated, or be updating soon.

                    Monday 25 November 2002

Arghh! Bug found in AOTSB demo!

It seems that the AOTSB demo we released a few days ago had a bug,

where the camera would get "stuck" in the Mafia Madness table.  The

full version addresses this problem, and the demo on our server is

being updated right now (It should be up in a few hours).

However, if you downloaded your demo yesterday or even earlier

today, or from another site, there's a good chance you have the old

                             version.  A quick way to check your version is by opening manual.doc;

at the top it should say "for version 1.2" right below the words

"reference manual."  If it doesn't, then you have the 1.0 copy.  To

update, you can either re-download the demo from our server, or just

download the demo patch from the downloads section (it should be

up any moment).  We'll post a headline when the demo is updated on

                             our server.

                    Wednesday 18 November 2002

AOTSB on sale now, and a new demo is out as well!

Yes, it's true!  We've finally got the purchasing system up and running,

and everything appears to be ready for action.  Head on over to the

shop to get your copy of Attack of the Silver Ball now!  It's quick and

easy, and best of all, it's done entirely on line.  So, if you have a fast

connection, you could literally be playing in minutes!  What are you

waiting for?  Let the attack begin!

                    Wednesday 30 October 2002

                    Yet another server change.

It seems like it was only a matter of time, but the new server has also

started having problems.  We'll be moving again, but luckily, this time,

we'll actually get to keep our URL!  Hey, you have to look for the good

                              things in a bad situation.

                    Friday 11 October 2002

                    AOTSB is complete!

The updates have been finished, we've taken it through a brutal series

of beta testing, thrown it against all manner of system configurations,

and even had it box a few has-been fighters, and it didn't even break

a sweat.  This of course means that Attack of the Silver Ball is finally

complete, bringing to a close over 18 months of grueling labor.

Over the next few weeks, we'll be setting up the purchasing

process so that you too can partake in the glory that is Attack of the

                              Silver Ball!

                    Tuesday 3 September 2002

We've moved to a newer, snazzier site.  Surf

                    around and check it out!

The old server was giving us no end of headaches, and things seemed

to be going from bad to worse.  So, we've made a switch.  Our new

URL, as you must already know since you're already here, is

                              www.roundhousesoft.com.

In the future, we plan on doing a complete site overhaul, bringing

a whole new energy into its look.  So, with this, and Attack of the

Silver Ball nearing completion, we'll certainly have our hands full for

                              the next few weeks!
